Dato A. Sani bin Abd. Karim
Chairman

Dato A. Sani bin Abd. Karim, universally known as Dato Sani. is a graduate of the University of Birmingham in 1976, majoring in Civil and Structural Engineering. He is a perfectionist in all aspects, be it at work or voluntary duties.

Dato A. Sani is a successful Entrepreneur. He serves as an Executive Chairman and principal owner of five companies with interests ranging from construction to bakery. He is currently the Executive Chairman and major shareholder of four companies. He is also known to have turned several troubled organizations into well-run and prosperous ones through his superb management skills.

Dato A. Sani, remains very active in squash, playing two to three times a week despite his heavy schedule and as a corporate leader in the Malaysian corporate circle. His major involvement in the Squash Rackets Association of Malaysia started in 1994, where he was appointed as the Deputy Championship Chairman in the preparation for the XVI Commonwealth Games 1998 in Kuala Lumpur. In early 1998, he was made Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the 9th Asian Squash Championship held in Kuala Lumpur in July as the Pre-Games for the XVI Commonwealth Games 1998.

Dato A. Sani has been involved in Squash Rackets Association of Malaysia since 1994 and has been the President since 2004. He also led the Asian Games Contingent of 359 Malaysian to Doha in 2006 as the Chef de Mission. Dato A. Sani is the current President of The Royal Lake Club which was founded in 1890 with more than 8,600 members.

 
Dato Zainal Bin Mohd Tahir

Dato Zainal was born on October 17, 1951 in the state of Perak. After completing his secondary school in 1970, he joined the police service as an Inspector. While in service, Dato Zainal pursued his education and earned his degree in Bachelor of Science majoring in Mechanical Engineering from Brighton Polytechnic, UK in 1979.

He served as Director General of Logistics Department at PDRM and then as a Deputy Commissioner from 2002 to 2005. He was later seconded as Chief of Police in the state of Perak until 2006 and finally as a Commissioner and Director of Logistic.

On appreciation of his achievements and contribution to the national police force, he was awarded with several datuskship from various states such as SIMP, DSAP, DPSK, DPTS and DIMP. He was also awarded the highest recognition in the federal police like the PGPP and JSM awards.

Dato Zainal retired from active duty in October 2007 and was responsible for the strategic planning and management of the entire logistic for the Polis Di-Raja Malaysia. He was appointed Director of Tentacle Technologies on January 1, 2009. Dato Zainal provides leadership in gaining business from the government as well as from the global business community.

 
Manohar Pandian Mahalingam

Mr. Manohar Pandian Mahalingam is the founding Chairman and CEO of Tentacle Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd. He earned his Bachelor's degree in 1989 at the National College affiliated to Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli. He completed his Master's degree in Thiagarajar College of Engineering affiliated to Kamarajar University at Madurai.

Mr. Manohar began his career in 1993 with Mascon Technical Services Pte. Ltd in Chennai, India, and later moved on to join Computers Resources International Pte Ltd in 1994. Later on, he travelled to Singapore and joined SKL Technologies Pte. Ltd. (Hewlett Packard). In 1997, Mr. Manohar decided to work in the country's premier university, the National University of Singapore (NUS).
Mr. Manohar has vast experience in various industries in the areas of aviation, higher education, university administration, research, manufacturing and commercial and financial applications.

Pengiran Mustapa
Director

Pengiran Mustapa was born in 1947. His passion in engineering has led him to earn a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Brighton Polytechnic, Brighton, Sussex, UK in 1974. He is currently a member of the Institute of Engineers of Malaysia (MIEM).

Pengiran had served in various capacities in Royal Malaysia Police as Dy. Staff Officer (Transport), Marine Maintenance Engineer, Staff Officer Operation and Ag. Commandant RMP Technical School from 1968 to 1984.

In 1985, he joined Malaysia LNG Sdn Bhd as Procurement Manager, Human Resource Development which garnered the first ISO 9000 HRD in Petronas Group. He worked in the company for ten years.
Pengiran is the co-owner and Executive Chairman of a Civil & Structural, M&E and Environmental Engineering Consulting firms. Some of the projects the company completed include roads, bridges, schools, water supply systems, sports complex, industrial sites, jetties and wharves, buildings, livestock farming area, bio securities etc.

Kalpana Manohar Pandian
Director

Mrs. Kalpana Manohar Pandian completed her degree in Bachelor of Engineering in Thiagarajar College of Engineering affiliated to Kamarajar University at Madurai.

Mrs. Kalpana began her career abroad in Singapore in 1995 with ITC Technology Pte Ltd. as Systems Analyst. She then moved on and worked with Pacific Internet Ltd until 2003 as Oracle Applications functional consultant. Mrs. Kalpana is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Tentacle Technologies.

GM Samy is an Engineer from Madras University, India. Besides, he is a qualified Banker from Indian Institute of Bankers and also holds a Diploma in Business Finance.

GM Samy began his career in 1982 as Quality Control In-charge with Madura Coats, which is part of Coats Viella Group, UK and is the largest Industrial Textile Manufacturing companies in India. He also worked as a Faculty of Engineering with PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, India and later moved to banking services.

In the last 20 years, GM Samy had worked for three different banks namely Allahabank Bank, the oldest bank in India, ING Vysya Bank, a multinational bank and Global Trust Bank. His areas of specialization are Project Appraisal, Recovery of Bad Loans, NPL Management, Industrial Consultancy, Rehabilitation of Sick Industries and Training. He was part of the core team which defined and developed Appraisal Process, Monitoring System, Documentation and Disbursal guidelines, Risk Management guidelines etc for Global Trust Bank, when it commenced operations as a next generation bank in 1994. He has been the main resource person for the credit related IT applications. GM Samy joined Tentacle Technologies in 2005 as Chief Financial Officer and as a Senior Consultant in Banking Solutions.
